Everything is Awesome

If you like LEGOs and have children or grandchildren or if you like children and grandchildren and have LEGOs, you very well may have seen The LEGO Movie that was playing in theaters in February. The movie was pretty good. Worldwide it has grossed $411,058,771 and that is nothing to shake a stick at. If you’ve seen the movie, I need only mention the title song and it will be impossible to stop singing it in your head for the next 5 hours.

The righteous shall live by his faith
April 2
"The righteous shall live by his faith." These words come from the prophet Habakkuk 2:4. In chapter 2, the prophet is speaking about the wickedness of the Babylonians and the way in which their pride puffs them up to the point that they rely on their own strength and power and refuse to acknowledge God. In the middle of this accusation against the Babylonians, the prophet stops almost mid-sentence, pauses to reflect on this state of things, and then utters the words I began with above, "The righteous will live by his faith."
