A JOURNEY TO THE CROSS
This Sunday begins a series of messages called, "A Journey to the Cross." It will begin with an "eyewitness" account of Jesus' agonizing prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. It will continue with an "overhearing" of the trial in which Jesus was convicted and sentenced to die on a cross.
On Palm Sunday at 9:00 a.m. we will celebrate the Cantata, "Come, Touch the Robe." At 11:00 a.m. the sermon series will continue with a visit to the upper room when Jesus shocked the disciples by taking the towel of a lowly servant.
Finally on Easter we will walk with two men on the way to Emmaus as they encounter Jesus on the road and at the dinner table. Each message will be an "eyewitness" account in costume and character.
This Lent and Easter, take a journey to Jerusalem, and come touch the robe.
