As we enter the Advent season this is a time of preparation and celebration. Advent means “to come” and it is a time where we prepare to celebrate the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the earth and a time to remember that He will come again.

As I write this I am looking forward to our Faith Promise Sunday. As I said last Sunday what we do with our resources of time, talent and treasure says more about where we are spiritually than almost anything else we do. Jesus says more about money than about prayer or almost anything else that would be a part of our spiritual life.
