Justin Ahlgrim is the Youth Director at First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, IL. The Youth Director oversees the First Presbyterian's High School & Middle School Ministry programs, events, gatherings and trips, all with the goal of leading young people into a personal relationship with Jesus where they are grounded in their faith and demonstrate it through their lives of service.
Hi! I'm Justin! I'm originally from Lombard, the “Lilac Village” of Illinois. I was raised in the Church from my youth and I have been seeking to follow Jesus Christ ever since I gave my life over to Him through God’s Spirit working in me at a Youth Ministry retreat. My passion for Jesus Christ continued, and through prayer, Scripture, and guidance, I decided to pursue Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry at Bethel College in Indiana where I attained my B.A. and through a miracle of divine providence, I became First Presbyterian Church's Youth Director in June, 2009! So, I moved here with my lovely bride Deb where I have been given the opportunity to servant-lead as the Youth Director for Middle and High School Ministries! (Whoo! Say THAT in one breath!)
My history aside, I love volleyball, soccer, social networking, taking/editing pictures, lyric-driven music, running, playing Mafia, biblical exegesis, singing musical numbers, dramedy movies, minor keys, consuming protein, and last but not least, Spider-Man.
I have a passion for Youth Ministry and a love for God, the Church, and the world. I'd love to get to know you and take you out to lunch or coffee sometime!
